The Cervicogenic Headache Clinic offers an intensive functional rehabilitation programme (FRP) providing a comprehensive approach to managing headaches arising from dysfunction of the neck by releasing trapped nerves.
A combination of gentle treatment, education, tension awareness and progressive muscular relaxation techniques can identify and treat neck dysfunction leading to tension headaches, whiplash headaches, chronic or frequent headaches, stress related headaches, headache at the back of head, headache in pregnancy, headache behind the eyes, migraine and even headache in children.
Due to the gentle nature of the treatment the functional rehabilitation programme is suitable for all ages. Children in particular find the interactive nature of the treatment both comfortable and non-threatening. Treatment can be carried out through loose clothing so there is no need to undress.
Appointments
The treatment offered at the clinic commences with a free initial assessment to determine the suitability of undertaking the programme. This will involve a detailed case history and examination of the structures of the head and neck.
The functional rehabilitation programme consists of ten sessions initially on a weekly basis. Each session lasts approximately one hour and is carried out by a registered osteopath.
The total cost for the functional rehabilitation course of ten sessions is £2,000.
The clinic is recognised by most health insurance providers. If you are currently pursuing a legal claim for an injury we can assist you in recovering your rehabilitation costs.
Please contact the clinic to arrange an initial consultation.
